Is KGND Member really free?
Yes! Anyone can register as a KGND Member at no cost. You'll get full directory access, networking, and the ability to earn points by participating in KGND activities.
How does the payment work for General Assembly?
Choose any amount of $30 or more per month. Payments are securely processed by Stripe. You can cancel or change your contribution amount anytime from your dashboard.
Can I change my monthly contribution amount?
Yes. You can update your contribution amount from the billing portal at any time. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle.
How do I become a Board of Trustees member?
Trustees are not selected by payment — they are elected by the General Assembly through KGND community elections. Active General Assembly members can stand as candidates.
What happens if I miss a payment?
Your General Assembly membership stays active for 7 days after a failed payment. After that, you return to free KGND Member status. You can resume General Assembly anytime by making a new payment.
Will I lose my account if my membership is downgraded?
No. Your account stays active forever as a KGND Member. You only lose voting rights and General Assembly participation if you stop contributing.
Can I get a tax receipt?
Yes. Stripe automatically emails receipts after each payment. KGND is a non-profit and contributions may be tax-deductible — consult your tax advisor.
